Job Title: Healthcare Sales Representative

Our team is seeking a Consultative sales professional to drive new business opportunities, by identifying and selling our StreamlineMD Electronic Medical Record (EMR) solution to physicians, while initiating long lasting relationships.
SALES
- Increase market share/revenue by proactively uncovering, pursuing and growing new business.
- Investigate and follow through with legitimate sales opportunities.
- Identify and reach decision makers.
- Explore customer needs and present solutions.
- Exercise judgment in negotiating contractual terms and conditions.
- Work with Implementation and Operations team to ensure smooth handoff.
- PRESENTATIONS
- Develop and execute sales presentations to potential clients.
- Perform sales presentations remotely or in person.
- RELATIONSHIPS
- Provide consultative and value-added approach to develop relationships.
- Develop and maintain relationships in each account, including multiple levels within the customer’s organization i.e. front desk staff, office manager, administrator, nurse practitioners, and physicians.
- Work with technical staff to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Collaborate with Practice Management client relations team on EMR client referrals.
- PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge.
- Keep current on EMR market competition, and site StreamlineMD comparative advantages to prospective clients.
REPORTING
- Provide accurate and detailed information for the Service Agreement proposal.
- Work closely with management staff to communicate pipeline and sales activity.
TRADE SHOWS
- Represent company at trade association meetings/conferences to promote products and services.
- Evaluate effectiveness of medical industry tradeshows for return on investment (ROI).
QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Healthcare, Business or Marketing related degree.
· Healthcare, medical group operations and/or medical billing experience or knowledge.
· Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
· Must know how to prospect for and close business in the ambulatory/clinic marketplace.
· Presentation and Negotiation skills with a successful track record of closing sales.
· Ability to recognize and overcome objections from prospects.
· Strong computer literacy including thorough working knowledge of Windows-based software applications.
· Excellent listening, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
· Strong problem solving, and marketing skills—an optimist who is passionate about his/her product(s).
· Must be self motivated, with a work ethic of dedication and the discipline to work independently.
· Willingness/comfort with up to 25%travel.
· Valid driver’s license.
PREFERRED
· Understanding of the IT&EMR Industry.
· Practice Management experience.
· Medical device or equipment sales experience.
